 This week's author is... Jeff Kinney! I don't know about you, but I love the  Diary of a Wimpy Kid series. This week's author created that series. Books by him: He created the Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Diary of an Awesome Friendly Kid books and some books off of that like Mad Libs and The Wimpy Kid do-it-yourself book. POPTROPICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is also the creator of Poptropica, an online video game where you go on quests on islands, earn coins, and get cool stuff like outfits or gum for your character. The islands are a wide variety, there is an Atlantis adventure and a Survival adventure (and many more). This game is fun and I would suggest it for both boys and girls. If you are interested in it open Google or another search browser and type in Poptropica.

The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by Jackson Characters:   -Dorthey   Dorthey is a girl that gets caught up in a cyclone and travels to Oz. She wants to see Oz the wizard because he can help her go home. She has a dog called Toto. -Tin Man The Tin Man is, well, a man made of tin. He wants to see the wizard Oz to get a heart. -Scarecrow  The Scarecrow is a scarecrow. He wants to see Oz to get brains.  - Cowardly Lion The Cowardly Lion is a lion that is a coward. He wants bravery from Oz. Summary: A girl named Dorthey ends up in a world called Oz and goes on a ton of adventures before coming back to Kansas, where she lives.
